Do you want to know how to write winning mindfulness business proposals?
In our recent Business Lounge Live session for students and graduates of our Meditation and Mindfulness Teacher Certification, ACMM Coach Tim James, shared his secrets to winning work by writing a great business proposal!
Tim is a wealth of knowledge having worked in the corporate and charities space prior to running his own successful meditation business. He now works solely as a meditation teacher in the corporate space, teaching in community groups and with ACMM.
Here are a few of the tips that were shared in the session:
- Proposals are a written pitch and a little like writing a story. The story is ‘how you and your offering can best support the client to meet their needs’.
- Make it engaging. Let your energy and uniqueness flow into the proposal, from the design and layout to the content and feel. Feel it as you’re writing it!
- The clearer the scope of work you’re quoting on, the easier it is to design an offering to meet the needs. Ask lots of questions to help fully understand the scope of work and client needs.
- You deserve to be paid and make a profit from your offering in recognition of the training, investment, energy, value and incredible possibilities you’re delivering. Clients want you to make a profit so you can continue to deliver what you do.
- Being open and transparent, easy to work with and responsive are some of the keys to long term partnerships. Make it easy for the client to work with you.
