Meditation for Connecting with Nature

Meditation and the Chakras

Chakras are an incredible tool for self-discovery, personal growth and meditation written about in ancient Yogic philosophy.

Each chakra unlocks its own world that includes aspects of our personality and unconscious world. Specifically, this program offers an extensive journey into the 7 main chakras and allows you to become confident at understanding and using them as a tool for meditation, self-awareness and personal development.

You will learn a variety of meditation techniques to enable you to work with a particular chakra. Included in this short course is work with affirmations and journalling questions for each chakra. Although you can complete this 25 hr course in as little as 6 weeks, you are also welcome to take up to 6 months, to really luxuriate in the practices. Therefore you will have plenty of time to explore each chakra and notice the differences that these practices make to your life.

This program is authored by ACMM Founder, Holistic Counsellor & Meditation Australia President – Lisa Forde

I have known of the chakras for many years. However, the Meditation and the Chakras Short Course took my understanding and knowledge so much deeper. There are so many journaling and meditation prompts and I was able to choose techniques that suited my exploration. The deep level of teaching, and then understanding, truly allowed me to sense a change in these centres in my body. I would absolutely recommend this course to anyone wanting to delve deeper into meditation that supports the chakras.” – Shona

“I enjoyed every aspect of the Nature Short Course, as someone who loves being outside. It really helped me connect deeper in my own journey with nature. It’s really helped me learn about the different seasons, indigenous culture and being culturally appropriate in my offerings. It’s inspired me in my meditation teaching and the direction I want to take it in

Journalling For Clarity

This program is authored by ACMM Founder, Holistic Counsellor & Meditation Australia President – Lisa Forde

Meditation is one component of holistic self-care. We need other activities to take care of our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects.

Journalling prior to meditating is an excellent way to clear the mind and process the day’s events. It helps to support emotions and bring clarity and insight. It especially helps us to reconnect to our inner selves, which can bring greater depth to our meditations. Additionally, it allows a less obstructed entry into meditative states and open the way to deeper insights about ourselves.

Journalling helps to inform us of the most appropriate technique and focus to utilize in our  meditation time. It consequently allows us to bring specific soothing through meditation to particular issues running in our life.

This daily 6 week journalling program is designed for use alongside your meditation practice. It contains specific activities that can be translated for use with groups.

It supports managing feelings, building self-esteem, building inner resources, and opening your heart to the wonder and joy of life.

Journalling is a way for us to connect with our highest level of being and to tap into our internal wisdom and intuition. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this elective. It is quite amazing how much I discovered about the deepest, darkest and lightest aspects of myself and how healing that was for me. An invaluable course for anyone looking to practice, guide and/or teach meditation.” – Bridget
