We are proud to introduce you to ACMM’s newest online Meditation Teacher Training Diploma Graduate, Catherine, Elvian (El) Drysdale. Catherine completed our accredited online meditation teacher training by finishing her Advanced Certificate in Guiding and Teaching Meditation and Mindfulness in early 2023, and went on to complete her Diploma at the end of that same year.
She has combined her qualifications in Naturopathy and a range of health modalities with her passion for meditation and mindfulness into a new business offering called Mindful Naturopathy.

Hi Catherine, tell us a little bit about yourself.
I live in Lennox Head NSW, the Beautiful Northern rivers and beaches, region. I have been a Mother and step-mother to 7 children and grandmother now to 3. My passion has always been how to live my best self in connection to nature and my natural life force; body, emotion, mind and spirit.
Beginning with studies in Rebirthing (breath work) and Kinesiology, I went on to become a Naturopath, Herbalist and Homeopath. As owner/partner at Mullumbimby Herbals for 21 years, I served families and the community with positive health and lifestyle choices. At the same time I ran Rites of passage programs with Pathways Foundation for 15 years.
Meditation has always been a part of my own personal growth, so when I sold my business and moved through the transition of Mid Life to Elder, meditation was my chosen modality. ACMM felt like the right place to deepen my practice as well as to study to become a guide and teacher. So now as a Graduate of the Diploma of Guiding and Teaching Mindfulness and Meditation, I combine this with Natural Therapies for supporting people with living whole life wellness.
I am very passionate about my new Health Practice Mindful Naturopathy.
How do you share meditation and mindfulness with others?
An ongoing weekly Mindfulness and Meditation group as well as private sessions. Next year, I plan to run further groups and workshops.
What have you enjoyed most about the Post Graduate Diploma program?
The Diploma was so enjoyable. Running my groups and sessions and learning with each week. The calls were fabulous to discuss any questions with Lisa and other students that I felt I needed support with. Hearing the other students experiences was invaluable as well.
What attracted you to become a meditation teacher and study with ACMM’s accredited online meditation teacher training?
I decided to become a meditation teacher as meditation had always ben a stabilising and wonderful personal growth support for myself. Looking at many other trainings, ACMM was the most thorough and professional training on offer.
The Post Grad program was the logical choice after my advanced certificate, because I knew to move forward in running my groups and private sessions, the support and further training in the diploma would build my professionalism and confidence. It certainly has!
My studies have supported my personal transformation to Live and Be the wise woman, that I have emerged into and to create Mindful Naturopathy.
What would you say to someone thinking of enrolling in the ACMM’s online accredited meditation teacher training?
Give it to yourself and your future students or clients. Experience is everything!
