Carolina’s goal in to empower others to find inner peace
Carolina was drawn to meditation teaching after experiencing a tumultuous period in her life. She found that meditation and mindfulness provided the support she needed to navigate through her challenges and restore her sense of balance. “Meditation became my anchor during a time when everything I knew fell apart. It provided the balance and direction I desperately needed,” she shared. The transformation she experienced was profound, and these practices continue to support her every day.
Inspired by her own journey, Carolina decided to help others find healing through mindfulness. She researched extensively and discovered the Australian Centre for Mindfulness and Meditation (ACMM), which offered a program that perfectly suited her needs. With its flexible structure, supportive community, and enriching retreats, the ACMM program was ideal for deepening her practice.
Carolina’s mission now is to support individuals who feel overwhelmed or disconnected—whether they are busy professionals, parents, or anyone seeking greater clarity. Her goal is to empower others to find inner peace, self-compassion, and resilience, helping them lead more fulfilling and purposeful lives.
Sharing practices pivotal in her own transformation
Carolina’s journey as a meditation teacher has been ever-evolving. She began by leading weekly meditation groups at work and monthly sessions at a yoga studio. “I really enjoyed these sessions, especially the external ones,” she said, highlighting her passion for preparing and conducting these sessions. They typically included mindfulness teachings, guided meditations, and open sharing, which brought her great fulfilment.
Completing the Community Work Placement program through ACMM was a transformational experience for her. “I loved sharing my love for mindfulness with the aged care community,” she reflected, appreciating the uplifting feedback she received.
Recently, Carolina launched her one-on-one program, Renew & Rise. This program provides participants with a structured pathway to rediscover clarity, confidence, inner peace and self-worth through mindfulness and meditation—practices that have been pivotal in her own transformation.
How ACMM Has Shaped Her Mindfulness Journey
Carolina’s studies have profoundly impacted her both personally and professionally. “Deepening my mindfulness practice has enhanced my ability to stay present and grounded, even in challenging situations,” she noted.
She appreciated the comprehensive support system provided by ACMM, especially the one-on-one mentoring sessions. “The personalised guidance and encouragement were invaluable, helping me grow both as a practitioner and a teacher.” Carolina also found the retreats to be a highlight, offering deep immersion in practice and connection with like-minded individuals.
As a meditation teacher, she emphasises the importance of presence and creating a safe space for students. “It’s not about having all the answers but showing up fully and supporting your students’ journeys.” She advises teachers to trust their practice, be patient with themselves and their students, and embrace the ongoing process of growth
Carolina’s Approach to Growing Her Mindfulness Business
As Carolina develops her business, she keeps a few key principles in mind. First, she views it as a numbers game: “The more people I reach, the greater the chance of engaging participants in my program.”
She also embraces the mantra, “Better done than perfect.” For her, perfection is subjective and can hinder progress. “Perfection slows us down and can stop us from putting our content out there.”
Lastly, Carolina recognizes the value of her work. “I’m helping people relieve their suffering and regain confidence through mindfulness,” she said, “and it’s okay to be paid for this valuable service.”
