Hi Chloe! Tell us a little bit about yourself

I’m Chloe, currently 20 years old living holistically and sustainably on Whadjuk land (Perth). Aside from studying at ACMM, I also study metaphysical studies, and have just completed a certificate in Chakra Healing.

I currently live in South Metro Perth however, I am moving even further south to Margaret River for a few months before making my travels around Australia for a couple of years. At the moment I work casually at Bunnings Warehouse, with the occasional meditation and mindfulness classes. I am also a facilitator in my own spiritual retreat business.

What attracted you to become a meditation teacher and study with ACMM?

Honestly, I think my intuition led me to becoming a meditation teacher at ACMM. Back in 2021, I was studying Bachelor of Nursing, however felt very disconnected and uninterested. The night I impulsively decided to drop out of my studies, was the same night I googled Meditation Teaching courses.

The thought to google it was odd, since I never really meditated or ever thought of becoming a meditation teacher. I must have spent a few minutes scrolling through different institutions on my phone and before I knew it that night I enrolled into ACMM. It was rather spontaneous but it felt right, it felt more me.

How has meditation impacted you on a personal level – what are the benefits you have seen?

Meditation has helped me connect to myself, others and the earth. It has opened up a vision of gratitude and control. From someone who suffers greatly with anxiety, meditation has helped me with techniques and the mindset, to listen in and release the minds thoughts, feelings and emotions.

What does your personal meditation practice look like? What styles or types of meditation do you enjoy?

My meditation practice takes place in my living room, surrounded by plants, crystals and beautiful aromas. I usually meditate in the mornings, however I do listen in to what I feel I need most, I go from there. Whether that be meditating twice a day or switching from mornings to afternoons. I usually enjoy visualisations or one seat meditations, indulging in the silent surrender is my favourite part.

Do you have your own meditation/mindfulness/holistic business, plans to start one?

Yes, I currently run my personal meditation/holistic business called Natures Spiral. Through Instagram I post information of meditation, mindfulness, sustainability, nature and the metaphysical. I am also in the process of releasing affirmation cards and journals.

In addition, to my personal business I co own a holistic/spiritual retreat company called Sol Retreats Co WA, where I am a facilitator. The retreat business is run by myself and three other girls who specialise in yoga and aromatherapy. At the Spiritual retreat I run the meditation, sound healing, chakra and journaling workshops and support the girls through other workshops as well.

Myself and the Sol Retreats girls have just held a 4 day July Retreat in Yallingyup WA.

We are also finalising some day events for the upcoming month.

What would you say to someone who is thinking about becoming a meditation teacher?

Just go for it, it is so worth it. What you learn not only about meditation and mindfulness but what you learn about yourself too is amazing. Starting this course, has improved my mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. It has become my lifestyle. As well as allowing me to be a retreat facilitator for our nature retreats.

What have you enjoyed about studying with ACMM?

I’ve enjoyed the support you receive from studying, from yourself, your mentor and the community. It really helps you on your journey into consciousness, and guides you into being the best version of yourself as a meditation and mindfulness teacher.
